Avaya TN2312BP provides transport of control messages. Messages are sent between the S8500, S8700, or S8710 Media Server to the Media Server Port Networks (PN) using the customer’s LAN and WAN. Through these control messages, the media server controls the PNs.

Features:

The IPSI always resides in the tone clock slot on a media gateway and uses a 10/100 BaseT interface to connect to a server or laptop connected to the server through a services port.

• The Avaya TN2312BP IPSI provides the following features:
• PN clock generation and synchronization only for Stratum 4 type II
• PN tone generation
• PN tone detection, global call classification and international protocols
• Product serial number processing for license file activation
• Environmental maintenance, G650 Media Gateway only

Avaya TN2312BP IPSI Gateway supports Avaya TN2302AP Media Processor Cards and Avaya TN2602AP Media Resource 320 Cards.
